Unirain product Warranty - Conditions & terms
Unirain warrants its products to be free of defects in materials under normal use for a period of two years from the original date of purchase. This warranty shall be limited to defects in materials during the warranty period when the product have been used under normal operating and service conditions, according to the Unirain product datasheet and when the maintenance of the products has been done under the Unirain recommendations. All materials fulfil with the international procedure as Certification: ISO 9001.
Unirain’s warranty shall not extend to situations in which the product was subjected to improper installation or in systems using water contain corrosive chemicals, sand, dirt, silt, electrolytes, rust or agents that otherwise attack and degrade plastics or internal parts of the product. Unirain’s warranty does not cover failures caused by electrical power surges, removal or repais carried out by unauthorized personnel.
This warranty does not extend to repairs or replacement of a Unirain product or part that results from misuse, negligence, alteration, modification, tampering or improper installation and/or maintenance of the product. No agent, employee or representative of the manufacturer is authorized to change, alter or add to the conditions contained in this warranty, or to assume liability or make guarantees not specified herein.
If a defect in a Unirain product is discovered during the applicable warranty period, Unirain will repair or replace, at its option, the product or the defective part, within a reasonable time. The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage to crops or any other consequences damages due to defects in the products covered by this warranty.
Repaired or replaced products are warranted for the balance of the original warranty period, from the date of original purchase as expressly provided herein.
The customer agrees to accept the replaced or repaired products and in no case Unirain will respond to the customer for any type of loss, damage as a result of the initial supply or delays in the delivery of the substitute or repaired products.
Any liability between our buyers and their customers which exceed Unirain’s liability which have not been accepted in writing by Unirain shall be the sole responsibility of our customer. This warranty extends only to the original installer/distributor of the Unirain product. Import products will have the original manufacturer’s product guarantee. The sale of these products does not convey nor imply any license under patent- or other industrial or intellectual property rights which remain belonged to the manufacturers.
- Periodic inspection, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts as a result of normal use.
- Periodic inspection, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts as a result of normal use.
- Defects owing to misuse or improper maintenance of the products, normal wear and tear. Unirain has maintenance/use manuals and technical information at our customer disposal.
- Damages occurred during transportation by a third party.
- Incompatibilities with other customer’s supplier products.
This guarantee does not cover:
Unirain’s obligation to repair or replace its products or product components as set forth above is the sole and exclusive warranty extended by Unirain. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties or merchantability and warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Unirain will not be liable to a customer or to any other party in strict liability, tort, contract or any other manner for any damages caused or claimed to be caused as a result of any defect in Unirain’s products, or for any special, incidental or consequential damages of any nature.
Repair or replacement of the warranted product
If a defect in a Unirain product is discovered during the applicable warranty period, as the terms discussed above, these defects should be reported immediately to Unirain, in writing. If it is necessary Unirain will request a sample this will be returned at buyer´s expense to Unirain facilities during the warranty period. Costs incurred in the removal, de-installation, reinstallation or delivery of the product to Unirain facilities shall not be covered by warranty. Unirain shall not pay for repairs or replacements made by third parties. The items must be securely wrapped and firmly fixed in a sufficiently packaged.
Upon Unirain receipts the product it will be checked by its Technical Department to confirm the fault as described by customer. If the product is out of warranty or warranty terms have been voided, Unirain will give the price estimated cost of reparation to the customer which must be accepted before the repair procedure is initialised.
If the customer declines the repair costs, the product shall be returned under freight collect conditions.
If the product has a fault covered by the present warranty Unirain will authorize its repair or replacement as necessary, paying the previous expenses of the product/sample shipment, as well as the subsequent expenses derived from the replacement of the materials to the buyer.
